FAQ

Setup, agents, and where your data lives.

What does Wayform add to my coding agent?

Your agent writes code. Wayform gives it a shared plan and the decisions behind it, including the approaches you already ruled out.

That context carries into new sessions and across your team’s agents. Less re-explaining, fewer repeated mistakes, and a plan to check the finished work against.

Can I use it on my own?

Yes. Your next session benefits from the decisions you made in the last one. When you add teammates, their agents can use the same plans and context.

What’s available today?

The macOS app supports plans, decisions, and planning chats with your own agent. You can build a plan from the CLI, check the diff against it, and record decisions when it ships. Running and watching builds inside the app is in development.

Where does the data live?

Your private GitHub repo is the source of truth for plans and decisions. The hosted service also uses a retrieval index to find relevant context. Planning-chat transcripts stay on your machine. Data and access details ↗
